FEATHERED SHEGRANYA

"If it's too quiet among the hares — consider that you've already been noticed."

At first glance, the Feathered Shegranya is almost indistinguishable from an ordinary hare. This is precisely what makes it one of the most dangerous forest predators. It lives alongside real hares, protects them, and uses them as live bait for larger prey.

OVERVIEW

Feathered Shegrany — a nanite mutation that arose from the fusion of a raccoon and a rabbit. Despite their external resemblance to herbivores, they are omnivorous pack predators with developed collective behavior.

The main feature of Shegrany is their life within real rabbit packs. They behave almost indistinguishably from herbivores until danger arises, which allows most predators to mistake the entire group for ordinary herbivores.

When prey appears, the pack splits. Some Shegrany lead the rabbits to a safe place, while others begin to provoke a chase. Once the opponent is far enough from their territory or loses caution, the entire pack attacks simultaneously.

During an attack, the animals' eyes turn bright red, their long needle-like fangs are bared, and their behavior changes drastically. Thanks to their speed and numbers, Shegrany can tear apart prey that is significantly larger than themselves in just a few seconds.

When food is scarce, they do not shy away from carrion and may consume deceased members of their own kind.
